HOW DO YOU TURN A DESTINATION INTO A FEELING?

For the 2026 Amway Diamond Gala, Papilio Entertainment, in collaboration with the lead agency Uniplan, developed an immersive gala dinner show for more than 1,800 top partners of Amway China.

The central idea: not just to show Munich and Bavaria, but to bring them to life.

Not merely as a backdrop for tourism, but as a vibrant blend of landscape, culture, history, tradition, innovation, and visionary thinking.

This gave rise to two interconnected worlds of experience:

BLOOMIN BAVARIA and KINIS DREAM.

A dramatic journey from origin to vision.
From nature to idea.
From tradition to the future.

BLOOMIN' BAVARIA

The Showpalast became a vibrant space for experiences.

Alpine landscapes, weather phenomena, music, light, and projections brought Bavaria to life not as an image, but as a state of being. A storm rolls in, the mountains vanish, light returns, plants begin to grow, and flowers bloom.

Butterflies first appear digitally and eventually become part of the real space. As they flutter over the bleachers and tables, the entire atmosphere changes.

The mountains are beginning to bloom.

The central edelweiss comes to life.

"Bloomin Bavaria" portrays Bavaria as a vibrant system: deeply rooted yet open-minded, mindful of tradition yet curious about the future.

The guest doesn't just watch.

He discovers.

KINIS DREAM

From the organic world of Bloomin Bavaria, the journey continues into the vision of King Ludwig II.

Not as a historical reconstruction, but as a continuation of his thinking.

Ludwig II was much more than just the king of Neuschwanstein. He was a visionary, an aesthete, a technology enthusiast, and someone who straddled the line between reality and fantasy.

Kinis Dream was born out of this mindset.

A world where poetry and technology, tradition and innovation, beauty and transformation come together.

The key question:

What would Ludwig dream about today if he had access to the technological possibilities of our time?

Technology becomes magic.
Tradition becomes the future.
Architecture becomes movement.
Music becomes space.

70+ ARTISTS. 1,800 GUESTS. ONE EXPERIENCE.

More than 70 artists became part of this dramatic world.

Dance, music, performance, lighting, media, space, and technology were not conceived as individual elements of the show, but as parts of a shared narrative.

Innovative technologies—including the use of bionic robots from Airstage—were also consistently integrated into the dramatic structure.

Not as an effect.

But rather as part of history.

DINNER BECOMES AN EXPERIENCE

The guests did not experience a traditional gala evening with individual performances.

The entire evening followed a dramatic structure.

Every moment led onward.
Every change in the space opened up a new perspective.
Each segment of the show was part of the same world.

This created an emotional connection to Munich and Bavaria for an international Chinese audience that went far beyond familiar images and traditional folklore.
